The entire staff at Wild Weekend 7 would like to thank everyone who attended our Birthday Bash Celebration. This event was planned with very little time, and Randy Price would like to personally thank everyone who came out to support it. We all hope that everyone had an enjoyable weekend. Thanks also go to Mattel for their generous support, and although the 50th Birthday celebration of Hot Wheels only comes once, the collector hobby will continue to grow. We at Wild Weekend hope to be a part of many more celebrations in years to come!

One of the standard events at all Wild Weekend gatherings is the popular Paradise Road display. Referenced from the classic movie American Graffitti, this display features a showcase of cars... the best of the best! For Wild Weekend 7, the theme of the Paradise Road display is The Sweet Sixteen, Plus 7. Here's how it works...
We are looking for 16 representative models* of the original "Sweet Sixteen" Hot Wheels redline models, released in 1968: they were;
The Beatnik Bandit®
*Only one car per casting, not one of each possible color.
We are also including the 7 original Spoilers™ that debuted in 1970;
Nitty Gritty Kitty
If you choose to submit your model for inclusion in the Paradise Road Display, it will be featured in the showcase for the duration of the event, then returned to you. If your car is chosen for inclusion as the best example of a particular model, you will receive a special limited event car for your participation. All entries submitted for each model will be judged by our own Bob Parker. All decisions as to condition are final upon acceptance into the display. And only one model will be accepted per applicant, to allow for greater attendee participation.
So check the condition of any of your original Sweet Sixteen or Spoliers™ castings, and bring your best mint or near mint example to be included in our 50th Anniversary Paradise Road display.
We will have five different categories of
Downhill Racing Action:
Guest participants at Wild Weekend 7 may include Larry Wood, Wayne Carini, Bruce Pascal and

The Ladies luncheon has been a popular event at all the Wild Weekend events in the past, and it promises to be a lot of fun for the ladies attending Wild Weekend 7. Conceived as a way to say "thanks" to all the women who tirelessly support the hobby enjoyed by their husbands and boyfriends throughout the year, the Ladies Luncheon recognizes and honors all the selfless "Hot Wheels Widows". Each attendee at the luncheon will receive their own Ladies Luncheon Event Car.
Enter your car in the WIld Weekend 7 Car Show. Being held on Sunday, May 20th. There is a $10 per car entrance fee. Open to all makes and models, custom or stock, and the car that most closely resembles an actual Hot Wheels vehicle will receive a trophy.
Did you know that there is an authentic Hot Wheels Twin Mill residing right here in Connecticut? It will be on display at Wild Weekend 7 and will take part in the Car Show! (not to worry... it's inelgible to win the trophy, since it's a real-life Hot Wheels Car already!
See a LaFerrari... a Ferrari Enzo... Shelby Cobras from the local area... and an assortment of other cool rides. Keep checking back for updates!
Also on display all weekend, Pizza One is a mobile pizza wagon designed by Larry Wood and engineered by Randy Price. It's a 1938 Ford COE pulling a vintage 1951 Spartan all-aluminum trailer. It's truly a one-of-a-kind custom!
It has been determined that the conference room at the Homewood Suites hotel is too small to hold a reasonably sized toy show. Therefore the details to setting up at the toy show are as follows:
You may set up outdoors in Randy's Parking lot. One $20.00 fee covers your entire space, and you may stay set up as long as you like. However, you will need to bring your own table(s) (and tent if coverage is desired).
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and if anyone who has purchased toy show space would like an adjustment towards outdoor space, or a refund, your table fee will gladly be returned. Thank you.
Test your luck with the Hot Wheels vending Machine. Each pull costs $10.00 and the prize you receive will be a treasured addition to your collection! Vending Machine sessions will take place on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. Good Luck!
This is the Schedule of Events for Wild weekend 7. Please note that event(s) and/or times may be subject to change. We will post any such changes to this site as soon as they become available.
